$3,500 – $4,500 LIMITED FINANCIAL PLAN
This is a formal written financial plan covering investments, asset-allocation, and retirement planning. The fee is determined by the complexity of the case and the number of hours involved in the project. Included are 30 days of implementation assistance.
$4,501 – $5,500 COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL PLAN
This is a comprehensive written financial plan covering budgeting and cash-flow, investments, asset-allocation, retirement planning, insurance review, estate planning review, taxation review, and education funding. As is the case with the Limited Financial Plan, the fee is determined by the complexity of the case and the number of hours involved in the project. Included are 30 days of implementation assistance.
$7,000 and up – ANNUAL RETAINER PLAN
The Annual Retainer Plan offers the client a full year of ongoing financial planning and asset management services. The annual retainer fee is composed of two parts:
(A) The Financial Planning Fee, payable only in the first year, is $2,500 and includes the Limited Financial Plan listed above.
(B) The Ongoing Fee for advisory services, payable each year, is a flat, tiered-rate annual fee calculated on the Client’s net investible assets, excluding the Client’s personal residence. Investible assets include, but are not limited to, cash and savings accounts, CDs, money market accounts, retirement accounts, brokerage accounts, individual stocks and bonds, cash value of insurance policies and annuities, limited partnership shares, equity in investment real estate, and any other non-personal-use investments that Barnett Financial Planning will advise on.
The fee schedule is as follows:
Less than $500,000 – $3,500.00 annually (payable $875.00 quarterly)
$500,000 to $999,999 – $5,500.00 annually (payable $1,375.00 quarterly)
$1,000,000 to $1,999,999 – $7,500.00 annually (payable $1,875.00 quarterly)
$2,000,000 and above – $11,500.00 annually (payable $2,875.00 quarterly)
The Annual Retainer Plan includes quarterly progress meetings and 24/7 access to the planner to answer financial planning issues as they arise. It’s like having your own personal Chief Financial Officer on call.
